Жители Техаса и Оклахомы пытаются прийти в себя после непогоды с 10-сантиметровым градом, обрушевшейся на ряд штатов в четверг, оставив после себя повреждённые автомобили и дома.
Града в 2,5 сантиметра может быть достаточно, чтобы причинить значительный вред, однако на этот раз он был размером с мяч для софтбола.
По данным Центра прогнозирования штормов, поступило как минимум 38 сообщений о сильном граде, в том числе из Сан-Антонио, Форт-Уэрта и Оклахомы.
Отметим, что в феврале месяце 2021 года на Техас и ряд других западных штатов обрушился аномальный холодный циклон, сопровождавшийся низкими температурами, снегопадами и ветрами.
